Errors on Our Site

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered and The Bonsai Centre reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment made. If your order cannot be supplied after payment has been received by The Bonsai Centre, your payment will be refunded accordingly.

 

Online Purchases
 

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a credit or exchange in accordance with the following conditions:

  • Items returned for refund must be unused.

  • Goods must be returned within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.

  • We must be contacted before any return is made, in order to provide returns information.

  • All items should be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition to obtain a full refund.

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund in such cases where the condition of the tree has deteriorated due to the lack of care and attention or obvious damage has taken place since the purchase was made.

  • All carriage charges for unwanted returns supplied correctly will be at your expense.

  • Transport packaging should be sufficient for the method of carriage. We cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused by your carrier.

  • Your return should be accompanied by a proof of purchase, your name, address and phone number, and order reference number for online orders. To help us, to help you, we would appreciate you enclosing details of why you wish to return the product.

  • Postage costs cannot be refunded.

  • We reserve the right to retain transaction fees where applicable. You will be notified of the amount to be retained to cover such costs when you request a refund.

 

Damaged Items

 

Any item damaged during transit must be reported immediately. Damaged items must be reported to receive returns information. Once the item has been received and verified, the refund will be reviewed.

(Only applies where the processing is based on consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject and in either case the data controller processes the data by automated means).

  • The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request a restriction is placed on further processing.

  • The right to object to the processing of personal data, (where applicable) [Only applies where processing is based on legitimate interests (or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority); direct marketing and processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics].

  • The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office.

 

7.  Further processing

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Protection Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Where and whenever necessary, we will seek your prior consent to the new processing.

8.  Visitors to our website

When someone visits www.TheBonsaiCentre.com we use third party services:

  • We use Wix.com, a cloud-based web development platform, as a “Data Processor” to provide our website and on-line store. We use Wix ShoutOut for our email marketing platform. You can view the wix.com privacy policy at: www.wix.com/about/privacy

  • We use PayPal to accept payments for purchases, either via our on-line store or at The Bonsai Centre. You can view the PayPal privacy policy at: www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

  • We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
